Overview

SyntaxVault ("the app") is developed and operated by WillPower Technology. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the SyntaxVault mobile application.

We built SyntaxVault as a reference tool for developers. Your privacy is important to us. We do not sell your data, and we do not serve ads.

Information We Collect

SyntaxVault collects minimal data necessary to provide the app's functionality:

• Bookmarks and preferences — saved terms and commands are stored locally on your device and optionally synced via our backend (Supabase) to support app functionality.
• Purchase information — if you upgrade to Pro, your purchase is processed through Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage and verify in-app purchases. We do not store your payment details.
• Anonymous usage data — we may collect anonymized, aggregated analytics to understand how features are used and to improve the app.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information unless you contact us directly.
• We do not collect location data.
• We do not share your data with advertisers or third-party marketers.

Third-Party Services

SyntaxVault uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — backend database and authentication infrastructure. Supabase Privacy Policy

• Google Play — app distribution and payment processing. Google Privacy Policy

Data Retention

Locally stored data (bookmarks, preferences) remains on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data. If backend sync is used, data is retained on our servers until you request deletion.

Children's Privacy

SyntaxVault is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
